On September 9, 2014 the BNTU has welcomed the Delegation of Pavlodar Ethnocultural Association "Belarus" (Pavlodar, Kazakhstan) and its youth vocal group "Hope". The Delegation led by Lyubov I. Bognat, Head of Belarus Association, has also comprised Belarusians who live in the Republic of Kazakhstan and represent the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan. The meeting has taken place at the BNTU Abay Center for Kazakh Language, History, and Culture. The Event has been supported by the Embassy of Kazakhstan, employees of the BNTU Abay Center, and the BNTU Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarization (FMTH) headed by Assoc. Prof. Brovka G.M. The meeting has been held within the framework of the International Forum of Belarusians Living Abroad.
The Delegation has studied the work of the BNTU Abay Center and photoreports on the events organized by the Center. The Delegates have discussed further cooperation plans with the employees of the Center. The guests have also visited Photography Exhibition featuring the Politech students and lecturers who gloriously fought in the Great Patriotic War, Belarusian Folk Exhibition "Berahinya", and the BNTU Technical Development Exhibition "University. Science. Production".
The BNTU Abay Center, the FMTH students, and the distinguished Delegates have organized the Round Table where the BNTU students and the guests could discuss development prospects of international cooperation in the field of education. The guests have also presented a wonderful song in Kazakh language.
The guests and the representatives of the Abay Center have exchanged commemorative gifts. The Center has got a valuable two volume book "100 Kazakh Legends", brochures, and a digital manual of Kazakh language.
