On April 23-24, 2015 Russian Customs Academy - Lyubertsy has hosted All-Russian Student Olympics Finals in Customs Affairs. The Event aims to improve the quality of higher education training qualified specialists in customs affairs. As any event of the kind, it also seeks to foster personal growth and creative development of the participants.
The Olympics have gathered 77 students from 27 Russian and Belarusian universities This year the students of the BNTU Faculty of Management Technologies and Humanitarization proved to be the best in Belarus, winning the BNTU a chance to compete. By the way, the BNTU took part in the Olympics only once before.
The best university teams competed in a number of fields of customs affairs, ranging from legal issues to the history of customs affairs in Russia. Our team made up by the 4th year students Tatiana Klepach, Anastasia Kazak, and Yulia Vasko, has exceeded all expectations winning the 2nd prize in team competition and numerous diplomas. Besides, the BNTU participants have ranked among top 10 students of the Olympics. The students and their tutors, Tatiana N. Grischenko and Olga N. Labkovich, did a great and painstaking job preparing for the competition, as Belarusian participants had to study all the peculiarities of Russian customs legislation. However, no pains no gains, and this time the gains have been tremendous.
Thanks to the spectacular performance of the team, the BNTU has ranked among 5best universities of Eurasian Customs Union (EACU) living up to the reputation of a university providing high-quality education.
