We extend our heartiest congratulations to the winners of the 10th National Contest of graduation projects created by graduates of higher and vocational schools of architecture of the Republic of Belarus.
The Contest was held on November 9-11, 2016 at the House of Architects. The Contest featured 89 projects. 57 projects were submitted by graduates of 7 universities. The jury presided by Oleg M. Bykovsky, two-time winner of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus, Corresponding Member of the International Academy of Architecture (MAAM), evaluated the projects and awarded the best ones with 1st and 2nd degree diplomas in various categories. Graduates of the BNTU Architectural Faculty obtained 14 diplomas.
The main award of the competition - the Grand Prix - went to Darya Zhlobich, graduate of the BNTU Architectural Faculty. Darya presented the project "Underwater World Center in Minsk" developed under the supervision of
O. V. Shaikova, Senior Lecturer, and S. V. Alenchikov, Architect.
Special Prize from KNAUF, the partner of the Contest, was awarded to R. M. Assad, graduate of the BNTU Architectural Faculty, for socially-oriented project "Inclusive Education School in Minsk" (supervised by N. A. Lazovskaya, Associate Professor).
