BNTU Welcoming Guests from Inner Mongolia

On November 18 the BNTU Centre for Scientific and Technical Cooperation with Provinces of the People's Republic of China , an innovation centre within the BNTU S&T Park “Polytechnic”, has welcomed the Delegation from Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology & Engineering (NIMTE), (Inner Mongolia, China). The Delegation has comprised:

  • Mr. Wang Youqi, NIMTE Deputy Director;
  • Mr. Wu Yueyi, Head of the Department at NIMTE;
  • Mr. Cui Chongliang, NIMTE Associate Professor;
  • Mr. Liu Wen, NIMTE Engineer.

During the meeting Yury G. Aliakseyeu, General Director – Vice-Rector for Production Activity of “Polytechnic”, has informed the Chinese Guests about the structure and management of innovative activities in the institution. He has also presented the latest developments by the BNTU and “Polytechnic”.

Marina V. Tsives, Head of the Chinese-Belarusian Center on Cooperation with Chinese Provinces, has expressed interest in establishing viable contacts between Belarussian and Chinese universities and research institutions. Later on she has spoken on the scheduled events designed to boost bilateral cooperation in the field of innovations.

Konstantin E. Baranovski, “Polytechnic” Leading Researcher, has discussed the issues concerning the aim of the visit with the Guests. The Parties have focused on the organization of scientific and technical cooperation in the field of materials science and  metal working, as well as top technology trends in these fields. The Parties have also considered the possibilities for setting up a joint enterprise producing wear-resistant cut iron.

The Polytechnic representatives and the Chinese Guests have also discussed the issues concerning the search of feasible joint business-oriented projects promoting science or production.
