On November 2-7, 2015 the Belarusian National Technical University (BNTU) has welcomed the delegation of the National University Hermilio Valdizán (Huánuco, Peru). The Guests have arrived to take internship at the BNTU Republican Institute for Innovative Technologies (RIIT).
Established in 1961, National University Hermilio Valdizán (UNHEVAL) is a comprehensive university offering programs in a number of fields ranging from medicine and engineering to law and political studies. UNHEVAL is also involved in high-quality research striving to alleviate or exterminate the issues concerning modern society. Nowadays UNHEVAL is among the best universities of Latin America.
In this short period, Marcelino Wilman Reynaga Martinez, who did his doctoral studies at the BNTU in 1986, Victor Enrique Cabrera Abanto, and Johnny Brynner Vilchez Miranda have successfully completed the internship, attended a meeting with the BNTU Administration, and examined the BNTU resource base. The Guests have had a rich cultural experience visiting Vietnamese Culture Centre, Palestine Culture Centre, Centre for Kazakh Language and Culture, and met with the BNTU students learning Spanish.
During the meeting with the Prof. Dr. Tsyhanou A.R., the BNTU Vice for Academic and International Cooperation, the Delegates have signed a Cooperation Agreement. Prof. Dr. Tsyhanou A.R and Prof. Solomakho V.L., RIIT Director, have presented the Delegates with the Certificates of Internship Completion and memorable gifts. The Guests in their turn have given Prof. Dr. Tsyhanou A.R, UNHEVAL memorial badge and presented the Coordinative International Student Centre with a memorable gift, a doll dancing the famous traditional Hunaco dance, “Danza de Tijeras” (Scissors Dance).
The fruitful visit has hoisted that cooperation between UNHEVAL and the BNTU and facilitated the development of friendly and mutually beneficial relationships between Belarus and Peru.
